We had a fantastic stay at this family-run guesthouse just outside the busy tourist district. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the attractions. The owner and his family were very friendly and made us feel like part of the family. The guesthouse had a cozy atmosphere with charming decor. We enjoyed the big breakfast with pancakes, eggs, and fresh fruit. Renting a motorbike was convenient and affordable. we had a wonderful experience at Soca House.
Could not be improved in any way. 😊

Good value for money, great for those on a budget. Friendly and helpful staff, offering assistance with tours and scooter rental.- Clean and spacious rooms, with good Wi-Fi and towels provided.- Nice view and quiet surroundings.- Option to rent motorbikes at a good price.- Small kitchen and free tea/coffee available all day.- Lovely and affordable local restaurants within walking distance.- Great pool, often uncrowded
No air conditioning, only a fan provided. Thin walls, leading to potential noise from other guests.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any questions or issues we had during our stay. They provided us with a helpful map of the area and recommended some great places to visit nearby. The room we stayed in was modern and clean, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The location of the hotel was also a highlight, surrounded by beautiful rice fields and nearby temples. It was a peaceful and serene atmosphere that allowed us to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
There were a few negatives during our stay. the room had some maintenance issues.

A comfy day room with a good bed, fan, and decent pool. Enjoyed a lovely social time with neighboring guests, drinking coffee on the verandah. Good shower and fluffy towels for the low price. The family's daughter drove us to the airport for a great deal and shared intriguing insights into Balinese culture. Recommend the suites or pavilions for added luxury.

We had a lovely stay at a modern room in a wonderful location. The builders were considerate, starting their work at a reasonable time and keeping the noise levels low. The family-run hotel had a welcoming homestay feel to it, with warm and friendly staff who were always ready to help. Our room in the new building was clean and comfortable, with a big comfy bed and a hot shower. The hotel also had a clean pool for us to enjoy. The location was perfect, surrounded by rice paddies and beautiful temples, and just a short scooter ride away from Ubud center and the monkey sanctuary. We highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

We stayed at a friendly homestay on the edge of Ubud. The owners were very helpful, and the rooms were comfortable with views of rice fields. The location was quiet, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. My friend and daughter had a fantastic cooking class, and the hotel organized our transport to Padang Bai. The bonus of having tea, coffee, and hot water available, as well as cold water refills, was a nice touch. The swimming pool, although separate from most of the rooms, was just 40 meters away and we used it frequently. a great value for a basic hotel. We will definitely return.
Can recommend this hotel.
